Broadway Across America Announces New Executive Team, Richard Jaffe Named CEO

As part of the shakeup, Richard Jaffe, who currently serves as co-CEO, is taking over as the sole chief executive officer, while Susie Krajsa is extending her term as president, a position she has held since 2018. Jeff Daniel, who currently serves alongside Jaffe as co-CEO and recently announced his departure, will continue on in his role until Aug. 15.

Black Theatre Coalition Announces Inaugural Semester of Broadway Across America Fellows

The inaugural cohort of Fellows for the previously announced Black Theatre Coalition/Broadway Across America Fellowship, sponsored by John Gore Organization, has been revealed. John Gore Organization & Black Theatre Coalition Team Up for New Fellowship Program

The two organizations have announced the creation of a comprehensive paid fellowship program for undergraduate college juniors and seniors as well as recent college graduates interested in pursuing a career in commercial theater. The Black Theatre Coalition/Broadway Across America Fellowship is sponsored by the Gore Organization. It will provide 10 paid, part-time fellowships across the United States with specific training in the areas of marketing, public relations, sales, programming, accounting, finance, operations, venue management and ticketing.

Lauren Reid Announced as President of the John Gore Organization

Our Town Benefit Raises $500,000 for Hurricane Maria Community Relief Fund

Scarlett Johansson and The John Gore Organization raised $500,000 toward the relief efforts in Puerto Rico in the wake of the devastation left by Hurricane Maria with a star-studded benefit reading of Thornton Wilder’s classic play Our Town on November 6 at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre. The evening featured Tony winner Scarlett Johansson along with her Avengers co-stars: Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr., Oscar nominee Jeremy Renner, Tony nominee Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Frank Grillo and Maximiliano Hernandez.
