Through its family of companies, the John Gore Organization is committed to supporting the theater industry and our communities in a variety of ways, from John Gore Foundation grants funding theater education programs to providing access to Broadway for underserved communities to food and clothing drives supporting our local social service agencies.  JGO is dedicated to keeping performing arts centers throughout North America thriving and contributing to their local communities.

Entertainment Community Fund

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund

“When theaters across the country shut down in March due to the coronavirus crisis, theater fans who had previously purchased tickets to Broadway and national touring shows suddenly had their plans canceled. As a result, Broadway Across America gave purchasers the option to donate the value of their unused tickets to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Thanks to their generosity, the John Gore Organization added to their customers’ goodwill this week, bringing the total donation to BC/EFA to $1 million.” – Broadway.com

“The Princess Grace Foundation-USA has established a new award to support emerging theater professionals with the help of a $1 million gift from the John Gore Organization. Hurricane Maria Community Relief Fund

“The Avengers, and friends, assembled in Atlanta on Monday night….for a stage reading of Thornton Wilder’s theater classic Our Town.  It was [Scarlett] Johansson who introduced the evening, having come up with the idea for the reading in partnership with the John Gore Organization.  The event raised $500,000 for the Hurricane Maria Community Relief & Recovery Fund at the Center for Popular Democracy” – Vanity Fair
